He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hobbs and Virginia Haydale Hobbs; and his son Robert C. Hobbs. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stump Hobbs; his children, Kenneth W. Hobbs (Karen) of Climax and Tamela Foster (Mark) of Greensboro; and his brother James Hobbs (Shirley) of Richlands. He is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
