She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Davis and Ruby B. Davis; her husband John Byrum (Shorty); and her sister Josie D. Brown. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Bennett (Keith), Matthew C. Byrum (Wendy) and Thellie W. Byrum (Linda); her sibling's children, Parker L. Davis (Beverly), Tim Brown, Wanda Cadwell and Betty B. Eure (Butch); and her close friend Maxine Conner. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great nephew.
