Briggs of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his sibling's children, Beth Ottinger of Chattanooga, TN, Jason Briggs of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Brian Briggs of Chapel Hill, NC and Andy Briggs of Hickory, NC; his mother-in-law Carolyn Jordan Clay of Garysburg, NC; his close friend Ronnie Lee (Phyllis) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and his pet Chloe.
