It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bunnie H. Shotwell Jr. of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on June 15, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bunnie Hugh Shotwell, Sr. and Nannie Sue Wilborne Shotwell; and his wife Betty Jean Hunt Shotwell. He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Shotwell (Carol) of Tampa, FL, Lawrence Shotwell (Kim) of Roanoke Rapids and Sue Allen (Gary) of Roanoke Rapids; his grandchildren, Marsha Dao (Adam), Christi Brantley (Brian), Pam Gentry, Jason Shotwell (Stephanie), Lauren Price (Mason) and Justin Allen (Tabitha); and his close friends, Edith Gay and Randy Matthews. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
