He is survived by: his wife Chris; his children, Stephen Ray Garner (Susan) of Roanoke Rapids and Tiffany Garner Shellenberger (Stephen) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Bonnie Garner Medlin (Josh) and Shawn Garner (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Letty Garner, Darci Medlin and Lukas Medlin; his brothers, Jimmy Garner (Peggy) of Roanoke Rapids and Wilbur Garner of Roanoke Rapids; and his pets, Brie Garner and Dela Shellenberger.
