With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dottie Patterson Barnes (Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina), who passed away on December 21, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Patterson and Clarkie Bissette Patterson; and her husband Thomas "Gene" Barnes. She is survived by: her son Brad G. Barnes (Yvonne); her sisters, Faye Best of Pinetops, Patsy George of Smithfield, Cathy Hill of Morehead City and Diane Patterson of Nashville, NC; and her grandchildren, Brandon Harrison, Jarrett Barnes and Owen Shriner.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
