It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erik Shane Lassiter (Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina), who passed away on September 22, 2019, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willie, Emily Britton Lassiter and Norma Jean Patteson. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Keith, Karen Patteson Lassiter (Nicole Deberry Lassiter) and Norma Jean Lassiter; his parents-in-law, Dean and Cindy Powers Deberry; his grandfather James "Pat" Patteson; his brothers, Chris, Shannon Lassiter of Roanoke Rapids, John "Patrick" Skeens of Roanoke Rapids and Kenny Lassiter (Reta) of Roanoke Rapids; his siblings' children, Austin Lassiter of Roanoke Rapids, Diamond Skeens of Roanoke Rapids, John Skeens II of Roanoke Rapids, Dalton Lassiter of Roanoke Rapids and Katlyn Lassiter of Roanoke Rapids; and his cousin Scott Patteson. He is also survived by Many Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
