It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernest Henry Hux Jr. of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Henry, Mattie Hux, Garland and Nettie Hall. He is survived by : his parents, Ernest Henry Hux, Sr. and Trevor Hall Hux of Roanoke Rapids; his daughter Aliyah Hux of Goldsboro; his fiancée Latonya Martin of Roanoke Rapids; his sister Amy Vincent (Keith) of Roanoke Rapids; and his close friends, David Fowler and Michael. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a substance use program to provide for those in need of assistance.
