He was predeceased by: his parents, Finley Bruce Curtis and Margaret Whitesell Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Linda Callihan Curtis; his children, Don Callihan Curtis of Gaston and Lou Curtis Weddington of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, Michael Edmond Weddington III, Medlin Margaret Weddington, Lily Wescott Curtis and Julia Callihan Curtis.
