He is survived by: his mother Mildred Hill Moncure; his children, Caroline Moncure-Patterson (Michael) of Leonard Wood, MI, Melissa Moncure Craven (Josh), Germany, Buchanan Moncure of New York City, NY, Lewis Moncure of Roanoke Rapids and Katie Moncure of Roanoke Rapids; his stepchildren, Brooke Teel of Roanoke Rapids, Justin Luce of Roanoke Rapids, Julie Stanley of Roanoke Rapids and Jamie Stanley of Roanoke Rapids; his siblings, Mildred Moncure of Garysburg, Fontaine Gibbons (Billy) of Chester, VA, Betsy Moncure (Vic Hague) of Roanoke Rapids and Philip Moncure of Henrico, NC. A; and his pet Pound Rd of Halifax, NC. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
