She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Lawrence Cole; and her parents, Jay Junie Newsome and Frances Sears Newsome of Scotland Neck, NC. She is survived by: her daughter Jackie King (Randy King); and her grandchildren, Lisa (Charles Powe), Warren (Sharon King) and Mike (Tracy Dodson). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
