With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane White Deese (Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina), born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on March 3, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bashford White and Reba Rhea White; and her husband Ed Deese. She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Davis; her grandchildren, Nathan Davis of Roanoke Rapids and Susannah Davis of Roanoke Rapids; her stepgrandson Matthew Deese; her sister-in-law Dorothy Hatten of Steinhatchee; her cousins, Joe, Rosanna Rhea of Windsor and Rhea Elliott Cooper of Wrightsville Beach; and her close friends, Ann Boyd Smith, E. B. Odom, Patsy Harrell, Wanda Sykes, Suzanne Garriss, Wilma White, Carey Turman, Deborah Decker, Keith Sledge, Terri, Rex Stainback, Jeff, Amanda White, Orace Pollard, Emily Harris, Jean Thompson, Carolyn Joyner, Pat Barnes and Mary Drake Johnston.
