He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hargrave Allen; his children, Jennifer A. Pinyan (Steve) and John M. Allen, III; his grandchildren, Cassidy Pinyan, Kellie Pinyan and Wesley Allen; his sister Joyce Fields (Tommy); his siblings-in-law, Clyde Hargrave (Pam) and Susan Larkins (Al); and his nephew Seth Hargrave.
