We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2021, at the age of 86, Joseph Donald Coyne Sr. (Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Irene Hickey Coyne; and his brothers, John and James Coyne. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne D. Coyne; his children, Joe Coyne Jr. (Pam) of Roanoke Rapids, Cindy Tripp (Danny) of Halifax and Renee Humphries (James) of Roanoke Rapids; his brother Paul Coyne (Pat) of Worcester, Mass.; his grandchildren, Lance Humphries, Ryan Humphries (Sherry), Hunter Coyne, Kaitlyn T. Koch (Taylor), Laura Coyne, Alyssa Humphries and Allison Tripp; and his great grandchildren, Kaylin Humphries and Taryn Humphries. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial donations be sent, in honor of Joseph Donald Coyne, Sr., to: First Christian Church Building Fund 836 Roanoke Ave. Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.
