It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joshua Daniel Stansbury (Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina), born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2019, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his cousin Corey Johnson; and his grandparents, George, Ella Sledge, David and Betty Johnson.
He is survived by: his mother Brenda Sledge Lee; his stepfathers, Tony Johnson and Roger Lee; his siblings, Ashley Johnson (Sterling Holcomb, Jr.), Tamara Lee, Jason Sledge of Spruce Pine, NC and Steve Conner of Nashville, NC; his mother Bear; his sister-in-law Melissa Sledge of Knightdale, NC; his siblings' children, Memphis Sledge, Amhyleigh Sledge, Caitlin Conner, McKenzie Conner and Zoe Conner; his cousins, Nichole Tanner (Carl Miller), Brittany Odom, Tammy Fajna and Timmy Fajna; his close friends, Corey Turner, Rell and Hope Clark; and also, Savy, Tori, Will Bierman and Chris Clements. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles.
