She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Neuman Mac Durmon and Helen Groening Mac Durmon; her husband Richard Lee Tanner; her children, Pam Kidd of Grandy, NC, Windy Hooker (Gary) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Frankie Carter (Darlene) and Bo Tanner (Karen); her stepdaughters, Jo Ann Murty (Bubba) of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Bet Richardson (Grant) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her grandmother Parrish (Ken) of Butner, NC; her stepsons, John David Tanner of Kinston, NC and Billy Tanner (Karen) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and her sister Phyllis McFadden (Harry) of Quarryville, PA. She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
