He is survived by: his wife Joy Johnson Banty; his daughter Leigh Banty Cooke (David); his grandchildren, Jackson Cooke, Haley Cooke and Kathryn Cooke; his great grandchildren, Jackson Livesay, Brantley Cooke and Annaleigh Cooke; his siblings-in-law, Tommy Johnson (Shirley), John Johnson and Linda Banty; his aunt Marie Strickland; and also Lodge. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
