She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayland David Bass and Lena Matthews Bass; her spouse Presley Turner; and her siblings, Lilly Mae Paul, David Bass, Nita Spence and Herman Bass.
She is survived by: her brother James Bass (Barbara); her children, Delores Jordan (Ronnie) and Mike Turner (Aimee); her grandchildren, Denisha Green and Tommy Turner (Renee); and her great grandchildren, Jaxson and Brody Green. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service (507 US-158, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
