She was predeceased by: her parents, David Edgar Iles and Helen Copeland Iles; her husband James Edward "Jimmie" Hockaday; and her brother David Edgar Iles. She is survived by: her children, James "Jamie" Hockaday (Julia) of Littleton, Charles Hockaday (Steven Green) of Roanoke Rapids and Nora Leigh Labrecque (Randy) of Roanoke Rapids; her grandchildren, Ryan Hockaday, Eric Hockaday, Cindy Blackmon and Mary Beth Labrecque; her great grandchild Lucas Blackmon; her sisters, Dorothy Green of Roanoke Rapids, Mary Anne Hodges of New Bern and Carrie Emma Bowers (Fred) of Fort Mill, SC; and her sister-in-law Sarah Iles of Littleton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
