He was predeceased by: his father Charles Emory Edwards; and his sister Sherree Wirtanen. He is survived by: his mother Amelia Harris Edwards of Roanoke Rapids; his wife Melinda C. Edwards of Richmond, VA; his son Dylan C. Edwards of Richmond, VA; and his siblings, Robbin K. Edwards of Roanoke Rapids and Shonda E. Dixon (Jimmy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
