He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John H. Carter Sr. and Hazel DeBerry Carter; his children, John D. Carter and Amanda Carter Foster; his siblings, John H. Carter, Jr. (Carolyn) and Sandra D. Carter; and his grandchildren, John D. Carter, Jr. and Katelyn Foster.
