She was predeceased by: her parents, Allie Cohen Morris and Effie Lena Hoggard Morris; her husband George Jackson; and her son Glenwood Dale Jenkins. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Jenkins Pleasant (Craig) and William Teal Jenkins of Rocky Mount; and her grandchildren, Glen, Chris, Charlie, Laura Jenkins, Dana Mitchell, Heather, Jessica and Cody Pleasant. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
