He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney B. Baird Sr. and Ella B. Baird. He is survived by: his children, Kim B. Hooker (John) of Ashville and Sidney B.; his siblings, Terry Baird (Agnes) of Wilmington, Phyllis B. Edmonds, Glenda B. Moseley (Melvin) and Carolyn B. Hux; his grandchildren, Emily Baird, Sydney Baird, Katherine Hartsook, Caroline Hooker and Graham Hooker; and his great grandchild Jude Hartsook.
