She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Pulley and Albert Pulley; her husband Walter Rufus Medlin; her siblings, Crystal Lee Sutton and Bobby Pulley; her daughter Sherry Carpenter; and her granddaughter Stacey Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Brantley (Ricky), Donald "Buddy" Medlin, Jerry "Punk" Medlin (Rita), Odell Rita Vaughan (Donnie), Carol Craft (Kevin) and Carl Medlin (Nikki); and her grandchildren, Ricky "Buck" Wayne Brantley, II, Christie Brantley, Tara Medlin, Hunter Medlin, Wendy Rook (Wayne), Joshua Medlin (Bonnie), Lisa Bradley (Michael) and Danielle Sloop (Justin). She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
