She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Cuthrell and Annie Cuthrell; and her son Larry Smith. She is survived by: her husband David Charles Fowler, Sr; and her sons, Benny Smith of Sanford, Bruce Smith of Blairsville, GA, David Charles Fowler, Jr of Roanoke Rapids and Joe Andrew Fowler of Roanoke Rapids. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
