She is survived by: her husband James Lewis Thacker, Sr.; her siblings, Dennis Balmer (Wendy) of Gaston, Earl Balmer (Mary) of Emporia, VA, Alice Deane (Edward) of Ruckersville, VA and Marie Melvin (Marvin) of Roanoke Rapids; and her grandchildren, Jessica Pittman (Justin), Erin Brickhouse, Chris Thacker (Ashley), Steven Thacker (Katlin) and Anthony Thacker. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
