She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Vaughan and Della Colson Vaughan; and her husband Claude Leake. She is survived by: her children, Russell Leake (Joyce) of Roanoke Rapids, Margaret Holloway (Danny) of Roanoke Rapids and Tom Leake (Barbara) of Greenville; and also, Doug Herrin and Cindy Draper. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren.
