He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alexander Powell and Victoria Morgan Powell; his sister Angela Walker; and his grandsons, Chase Powell and Sidney Rook.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Powell; his children, Wayne Powell, Jr. (Kelly) and Kim Rook (Ted); and his grandchildren, Colton Powell, Sarah Rook, Caleb Powell and Elana Rook. He is also survived by two brother-in-laws and several nephews nieces.
