He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Clark and Beatrice Baker Clark; his wife Shirley Clark of Roanoke Rapids; his children, Carolyn Bryant (James) of Waldorf, Janet Becton (Avery) of Manassas, Karen Adams of Roanoke Rapids, Patty Mayo (Richard) of Waldorf and William Clark Jr. of Roanoke Rapids; his nephew Leroy Atkins (Karen) of Fayetteville; his siblings, Jean, James (Milton Clark), Marie Burke of Hampton and Fannie Powell (Betty Tucker); and his close friends, Tammy Williams and Eddie Young.
