It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Gilbert Roundtree III of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Cody Ryan Roundtree; and his grandson William G. Roundtree. He is survived by: his parents, William G. Roundtree, Jr. and Edith Maxine Shearin Roundtree; his children, Bobbi Barber (Chris Mead) of Halifax, William G. Roundtree, IV of Roanoke Rapids, Jacob Riley Roundtree of Roanoke Rapids, Kassidy Renee Roundtree of Roanoke Rapids, Corbin Ryan Roundtree of Roanoke Rapids, Ashley Rae Shearin of Roanoke Rapids, Chelsey Lyn Shearin of Roanoke Rapids and Kirby Tyler Shearin of Roanoke Rapids; his sister Seretha Pittman (Eddie) of Halifax; his grandchildren, Caiden Michael Roundtree, A'lexus Roundtree and River Mead; and his sibling's children, Chelsey Lynn Atkins, Daniel Pittman, Brian Shafer and Gregory Razor.
