He was predeceased by: his father William Roland Massey, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Rose Willey Massey; his son Michael Craig Massey (Ronda); his grandchildren, Michael Craig Massey, Jr. and Kaylinn Rose Massey; his great grandchild Haydin Massey; and his sister Jane Powers of Manassas.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shiloh Methodist Church (421 Lawrenceville Rd, Gaston, NC 27832).
