He is survived by : his children, Joshua Bryant Rattler (Jessica) of Robbinsville, NC, Harmony Rattler of Murphy, NC and Justin Blackwell of Austell, GA; his brother Donald Rattler (Diane) of Robbinsville, NC; his grandchildren, Cameron, LaDannien Rattler of Andrews, NC, Jaiden Humphreys of Casper, WY, Faith of Robbinsville, NC, Cruz Broome of Robbinsville, NC, Siah Crapes of Robbinsville, NC and Kade Mavercik of Robbinsville, NC; his nephew Michael Rattler; and his nieces, Jackie Rattler, Alaina Haney, Phoebe Rattler and Kamryn Rattler. He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Townson-Smith Chapel (160 5 Point Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
