He was predeceased by : his parents, Tom Pilkington and Lois Pilkington of Robbinsville; his wife Darlene Webb Pilkington; and his siblings, Johnnie Pilkington and June Massey.
He is survived by : his son Michael Pilkington (Christy) of Belmont, NC; his stepdaughters, Dana Ammons and Michelle Huggins; his sister Sheila; his brother-in-law Lowell Phillips of Robbinsville, NC; his brother Kip Pilkington of Robbinsville, NC; his brother-in-law Leonard Massey of Robbinsville, NC.; his granddaughter Makayla Nardone of Huntersville, NC; his great grandchild Holden; and his close friend Gaye Prince. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the risk of exposure to COVID 19, face coverings and social distancing are required for those attending the graveside service.
