She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.

“We are in shock but we are all so sorry to hear of Kirsten's passing. I still remember her as a little girl coming up to me every Sunday morning and giving me a big ol' hug. I loved her very much and I and my family are praying for ALL who have been affected by her death & all who have been affected by this terrible disease Diabetes. I pray that we find a cure for this stuff someday while we are are alive! Lee, Tim, Sherri, Sam? Please know that I and my family love you all very, very much!”
