Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Margie George Brank of Robbinsville, North Carolina, born in Graham, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 89, on December 24, 2020. She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Grant and Lily Grant; her husband C. N. George; her son David George; her granddaughter Jessica George; her former life partner Paul Brank; and her stepsons, Larry and Chuck Brank.
She is survived by : her children, Charles George (Theresa), Donald George (Debbie) and Carla Long (David); her daughter-in-law Kathleen George; her stepsons, Frank Brank (Kathy) of Buncombe County, Darrell Brank of Buncombe County, Kenneth Brank (Tonya) of Buncombe County and Bryan Brank of Buncombe County; and her sister Bobbie Sawyer of Marietta Ga. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson.
Due to the risk of exposure to COVID 19, face coverings and social distancing are required for those attending the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Grace Place, a Community Table or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
