He is survived by : his wife Betty Keith Smith; his children, Matthew Smith of Murphy, NC, Robert Adams of Robbinsville, NC, Rachael Harris of Robbinsville, NC and Rebecca Smith of Bryson City, NC; his sisters, Nettie Satterfield of Robbinsville, NC., Janet Williams of Robbinsville, NC., Connie Moore of Robbinsville, NC., Tammie Mashburn of Robbinsville, NC. and Mavis Jenkins of Robbinsville, NC.; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Kristofer, Precious Harris, Bree, Eve, Neomi Felton and Tyler Holland.

Due to the risk of exposure to COVID 19, face coverings and social distancing are required for those attending the graveside service.
