She is survived by: her brother Hector; her uncle Hector Cafferata of Rockingham, NC.; her husband Harry North Ponds Jr.; and her children, Christie Padgett (Joel) of Rockingham, Colonel John Suggs (Trenny) of Fort Benning, Georgia, Joanie Suggs of Rockingham and Vanessa Magnes (Scott) of Atlanta.
