With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Neal Knight Vernon of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Joe Henry Neal; her husbands, Raeford Knight and Walter Vernon; and her daughter Rita Swinson. She is survived by: her son Ray Knight (Paula); her grandsons, Brian Knight (Vicki), Kevin Knight (Miranda) and Brock Swinson (Jess); her son-in-law Mike Swinson; her great grandchildren, Harley, Stella and Zane; her sister Joanne Neal; and her aunt Joanne.
