She was predeceased by: her father Bobby Dillard; her siblings, Russell Mims, Rev. Walter Mims, Jr., Floyd Mims, Julia Louise Mims, Barbara Mims, James Mims and Jacqueline Mims; and her nephew Thomas Mims.
She is survived by: her nephew Dean Ervin Mims; her significant other Charles Mc Collum; her daughters, Portia Watlington and Sherita Perkins; her grandchild Love Kapricia Watlington; her mother Jessie Marie Mims; her siblings, Katherine Watlington (Albert), Fannie Simpson, Renessa Eaves, Cheryl Diane Mims, Morris Kershaw and David Mims, Sr. (Lillie); her close friend Ophelia Brown; and her adoptive daughter Avon Harris. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
