He is survived by: his wife Brenda Russell Herberg; his children, Joey Herberg (Michelle) of Hamlet, Carla Smalls (William) of Fayetteville and Jeff Barrington (Melinda) of Rockingham; and his siblings, Gary Herberg of Massachusetts and Judith Herberg of Massachusetts.
