With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Ann Pankey Richardson of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenny Pankey and Odessa Blakely Pankey; her children, Jimmy Richardson, Johnny Richardson and Donna Kay Cassidy; and her sisters, Ruth Currie, Ella Prevette, EvaMae Hill, Mary Frances Roberts and Betty Layton.

She is survived by: her husband Legrand Richardson; her daughter Angie Martin (Alan); and her siblings, Jesse Pankey and Sadie Richardson. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
