It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Swanner Melton of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lester and Hettie Elizabeth Hildreth Swanner; her former husband Curtis Melton, Jr.; her son Curtis L. Melton; Robert Coleman Swanner.
She is survived by: her sister Rebecca Swanner Sherrill; her niece Barbara Schoonover; her great-nephew Robby Coleman Bingham; and her brother-in-law Jimmy Melton.
