It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Benoist Whitley (Rockingham, North Carolina), who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilliard Benoist and Lucille Richardson Benoist Haywood; her son David Whitley; and her siblings, Janice Benoist and Gene Benoist.
She is survived by: her husband Hubert Whitley; her sons, Charles Whitley (Donna) and Kevin Whitley (Kelly); her grandchildren, Chris Whitley (Cameron), Kim Graves (Luke), Caroline Whitley and Will Whitley; her great grandchildren, Holden Whitley, Kaleigh Bowden, Kennedi Bowden, Audrey Graves and Finn Graves; and her sisters, Faye Honeycutt, Gayle Davis and Pam Jopson.
