She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Hodge Dones and John Thomas Dones; her husband Samuel Earl Galloway, Sr.; and her brother Rev. Edward Dones. She is survived by: her brother Dennis Dones; her daughters, Joyce Ann Dones and Shawanda Dones; her sisters, Peggy Dones and Mary Dones; her sisters-in-law, Lillie Dones and Teresa Dones; and her close friends, Lucille Motley, Evon Thomas, Moses, Adele Staton, James Keesee, John Crisp, Jr., Kenneth Webb, Fannie Vincent and Pauline Stubblefield. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
