He is survived by: his sons, Charlie Scales, Jr. and Michael Scales; his stepchildren, Tanya Broadnax and Daniel Bagwell; his siblings, Annette Moyer (Charles), Marie Scales, Bishop Bobby Scales, Delmore Zack Scales and Morris Lamont Scales; his uncle Robert Walker; his aunt Elaine Scales; his brother-in-law Michael Gallant; and his close friends, Jay Dillard, Johnny Brim, Johnny Roberts and Clint Broadnax. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
