He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Singletary and Gladys Melton Singletary; his son Ronnie Singletary; and his brothers, Eugene Singletary and Richard Singletary.
He is survived by: his wife Alber Fay; his children, Dennis Ray Singletary, Jr. (Crystal) of Kentucky and Candy Martin (Adam) of Hamlet; his grandchildren, Adam Martin, Jr. (Meghan), Kali Wood Chase Singletary (Dakota) and Catherine Sessom; his great grandchildren, Addi, Eligh and London; his siblings, Bobby Singletary, Roger Singletary, Nancy Millen, Gail Singletary and Donald Singletary; and his pets, Coconut and Regal.
