He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Strickland and Bessie "Dot" Strickland; and his sister Carolyn Strickland Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Gail McPherson Strickland; his children, Lori Strickland Martin (Scott) and Chris Strickland (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Addison, Cayden Martin and Cooper Strickland.
