She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Shough and Ollie Lester Shough; her husband George Otis Myers; and her sister Sybil Atkins. She is survived by: her daughter Wendy Powell of Pelham; her sisters, Glenda Boyd (Bobby) of Madison, Patsy Boobar of Arizona, Wanda Hurst (Sam) of Stoneville and Phyllis Fagge (Ricky) of Stoneville; her grandchildren, Chad Sexton (Kayla) and MaKayla Kernodle (Brandon); and her great grandchildren, Nole, Emerson, Oliver Sexton, Izabelle Stophel and Cyrus Kernodle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
