With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flora Elaine Smith Lawary of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on September 13, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Elizabeth Reynolds Smith and James Henry Smith; and her husband Roy Lawary. She is survived by: her siblings, Haywood Conwell, Mary Floyd and Dorothy Slade; her siblings' children, Madaline Floyd (Lacey), Demetris Carson, Stacey Fuller and Rodriquez Floyd; her sisters, Kathy Brown, Roylene Wilkerson (Silas), Irene Fowler and Willie Mae Slade; her brother-in-law Robert Slade; and her close friend Hakeem. She is also survived by great-nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
