She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey Fountain and Mattie Overton Fountain; her daughter Gena Simmons; and her brothers, Darold Fountain and Paul Fountain.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie Simmons (Terry) and Kenneth Simmons (Hilda); her grandchildren, Kenny Simmons (Leslie), Karrah Darling (Daniel), Chastity Noble (Eric) and Candace Simmons (Lara); and her brothers, Harold Fountain and Charles Fountain (Loretta).
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
